Bucculatrix evanescens is a moth in the family Bucculatricidae. It is found in North America, where it has been recorded from California. It was first described in 1963 by Annette Frances Braun.

The wingspan is 5.8–7 mm. The forewings are creamy white with a faint yellowish shade along the basal half of the costa and a small black dot at the end of the cell and a few minute black specks in the cilia. The hindwings are creamy white. Adults have been recorded on wing in April.[2]
