Buddleja 'Pink Pagoda' (sold as InSpired Pink in the USA) is a sterile hybrid cultivar,[1] raised in 1998 by Peter Moore, Chief Propagator at the Longstock Park Nursery in Hampshire, England, and named by Roy Lancaster. The cultivar is the result of a crossing of Buddleja 'Pink Delight' with Buddleja × weyeriana 'Golden Glow'.[2] Plant breeders' rights were awarded in 2008.

Description[]

'Pink Pagoda' makes a compact shrub < 2 m high, bearing large panicles comprising an evenly staggered succession of globose heads of light-pink flowers, diminishing in diameter towards the tip; the foliage is mid green.[2]

Cultivation[]

'Pink Pagoda' is marketed in Europe by Plantipp BV. The plant was marketed in the US until 2017 as Inspired Pink by Spring Meadow Nurseries; from 2018, it will be marketed there by Concept Plants BV. A specimen is grown as part of the NCCPG national collection at the Longstock Park Nursery near Stockbridge.[2]
