Bungalo Records

Bungalo Records is a record label and distribution company, exclusively distributed by Universal Music Group. Bungalo Records was formed in 2000 and has been with Universal Music Group for 21 years. Best known as one of America's pioneering independent record labels, Bungalo Records has distributed mainstream artists such as DJ Quik, Mack 10, Patti Labelle, Rodney Jerkins, The Jacksons, Latoya Jackson,^[2] Carl Thomas (singer), Suga Free, Russel Simmons & Babyface (musician) (Wake Up Everybody (2004 album)), Fred Hammond, The Game (rapper) (Stop Snitchin, Stop Lyin^[3] DVD), Mannie Fresh, Kurupt and Heavy D. In 2007, Bungalo released the biggest selling inspirational album of 2007 with the release of Patti Labelle's The Gospel According to Patti LaBelle, which remained at #1 for 12 weeks. In October 2011, Bungalo Records was the key record label for booking all of the talent for the sold out Michael Forever Tribute concert in Cardiff, the capital of Wales, which included great performers such as Christina Aguilera, Ne-Yo, Beyonce, and Ceelo Green. Bungalo has had continued success with UMGD in all genres of music with top 10 records in all formats over the years.
