Cédric Toussaint (born 29 March 2001) is a Canadian professional soccer player who plays as a midfielder for York United.

Early life[]

Toussaint was born in Drummondville, Quebec, and grew up in nearby Montreal.[1] He began playing soccer at age four with AS Pointe-aux-Trembles.[2] He later spent eight years in at the academy of Major League Soccer side Montreal Impact.[3]

Club career[]

York United[]

On 11 November 2020, Toussaint signed his first professional contract with Canadian Premier League side York United, a two-year deal with multiple club options.[3] On 10 November 2021 Toussaint signed an extension with York United to 2024.[4]

Personal life[]

Toussaint is the son of Haitian-Canadian coach and former footballer Jean-Robert Toussaint.[2]
