CD Vision is an illustrious Bangladeshi record label and production house, which was established on 1998.[1][2][3] The company was founded by Mahbub alam. They produce content like - short film, drama, showbiz news, telefilm, fiction, advertisement, music video and documentary.[4][5][6][7]

History[]

On the year 1998, English CDs of Michael Jackson, Madonna, Ricki Martin were sent to Mahbub Alam from Malaysia to Baitul Mukarram.[8] They were sent in order to test if they'll sell well in Bangladesh.[9] He Marketed them and received rather well response. Within time, it got even better feedback, which was indicating a prosperous beginning, so he started his own business. On the year 2000, he set up a stall in the stadium, where he sold a variety of English, Hindi, and Bangla CDs. By the end of 2010 though, the demand for Bangla and Hindi CDs deteriorated. So after that, they resorted to buying Cinema and Cinema's song's copyright.

The business kept running like that until 2014. And on 2014, they collaborated with Bongo, set up a channel, and started their journey in the digital world. For 7 years, they had walked a triumphant path with Bongo; Bongo has been working with them since the company's inception in the digital field. Today, the number of their channel has expanded as now they have four successful channels: CD vision official, CD vision music, CD vision drama, and CD vision plus. For two decades, the company has been thriving. They had also won ICT award in the entertainment category.
