Cachalote is a Brazilian offshore oil field.^[1] Cachalote was discovered in November 2002. It has 350,000,000 barrels (56,000,000 m³) of oil.^{[citation needed]} It was to return to production in 2010.^[2] Oil from this field is heavy, 20° gravity crude.^[1]
