Camaal Reid (born 17 May 1988) is a Jamaican footballer playing with Scarborough SC in the Canadian Soccer League.
Playing career[]
Reid began his career in 2011 with Sporting Central Academy in the National Premier League.[1][2] After five seasons with Sporting he played abroad in 2016 in the Canadian Soccer League with the York Region Shooters.[3] In his debut season with York Region he assisted in clinching the regular season title, and won the CSL Championship in 2017.[4] In 2018, he played in League1 Ontario with North Mississauga SC.[5] He played with ProStars FC for the 2019 season.[6]
In 2021, he returned to the Canadian Soccer League to play with Scarborough SC, and recorded two goals in his debut match against Toronto Tigers.[7] He featured in the ProSound Cup final against FC Vorkuta, but were defeated in a penalty shootout.[8] He assisted Scarborough in securing the CSL Championship against Vorkuta in the 2021 playoffs.[9]
International career[]
Reid made his debut for the Jamaica national football team on 24 February 2012 against Cuba in a friendly match.[10]
