Camara Chantal

Camara Nanaba Chantal is an Ivorian magistrate who was appointed President of the Court of Cassation - the highest court of the judicial order in Ivory Coast, established by President Alassane Ouattara in April 2019.

Chantal was the first Ivorian woman to chair this high court.[1][2] In July 2011, she was appointed President of the Judicial Chamber of the Supreme Court. She was awarded Ivorian highest medal of honour of the National Order for her work in judiciary.[3][4]
