English rock band Cardiacs have released five studio albums, three demo albums, four live albums, five compilation albums, three video albums, five extended plays, eleven singles and one box set.

Cardiacs released their first demo album The Obvious Identity in 1980, under the name Cardiac Arrest. Their two following demos, Toy World and The Seaside, would see their sound evolve along with their rapidly changing line-up.[1] They released their debut studio album A Little Man and a House and the Whole World Window on 21 March 1988. It's single, "Is This the Life?" was a commercial success, peaking at number 80 in the United Kingdom.[2] The band's second studio album, On Land and in the Sea, was released on 2 May 1989. The album experienced weak sales in comparison to its predecessor, but was critically praised.[3][4][5] The band spent less than a year promoting and touring behind the album. Its lead single, "Baby Heart Dirt", did not chart.

Cardiacs' third studio album, Heaven Born and Ever Bright, was released on 15 May 1992. Due to Rough Trade's bankruptcy, the album was a commercial failure. Sing to God, the band's fourth studio album, was released on 11 June 1996. It was initially poorly received,[6] but has since been remembered as one of their greatest projects.[7]

Guns was released as the band's fifth studio album on 21 June 1999. Its song "There's Good Cud" would later receive attention when paired with an animation by Cyriak.[8] The album produced one single: "Signs". Preceded by the release of "Ditzy Scene", the band's sixth studio album LSD has yet to be released.[9] 2020 saw the official release of the song "Vermin Mangle", the closing track of the album, following frontman Tim Smith's death the same year.[10]
