Chandaus is a small town located in Aligarh district of Uttar Pradesh. Chandaus is located on the bank of Karban river. It lies 38 kilometres (24 mi) northwest of district headquarter Aligarh. Chandaus is one of the 12 Blocks in Aligarh district. Thana Chandaus is located on the Deorau-Pisawa main road. Sports university is also proposed to be built in the town. The nearest railway station is Danwar (6.5 km).The historical thunderstorm near Chandaus Kotwali is losing its height and identity with time. Due to lack of maintenance, it has now turned into a ruin. No information is available about who built it. No. But the information passed down from generation to generation makes it aware of its importance.
