Chandler David Moore (born March 21, 1995) is an American Christian singer, songwriter, and worship leader. Moore is a member of the Maverick City Music collective, and has a leading role in the production department of All Nations Worship Assembly in Atlanta, Georgia.[1]

Moore made his solo debut in 2014 with the release of "Never Run Out" and "Our Hope" as singles. In 2018, Moore released "What a Friend" as a single. In 2020, Moore released his debut album, Feelings. Feelings debuted at No. 4 on Billboard's Top Gospel Albums chart. Moore also featured on notable singles such as All Nation Music's debut single, "Bless Your Name", Maverick City Music's "Man of Your Word" alongside KJ Scriven, and Dante Bowe's "Voice of God" alongside Steffany Gretzinger.

In 2021, Moore collaborated with Essential Worship on their version of Hillsong Worship's hit single "King of Kings". Moore also featured on Elevation Worship's and Maverick City Music's hit songs "Jireh" and "Wait on You".

Early life[]

Chandler David Moore was born on March 21, 1995, to Bishop Brian David Moore and Elder Jametta Chandler Moore in Charleston, South Carolina.[1]

Career[]

Chandler Moore released his debut single, "Never Runs Out", on June 20, 2014, independently.[1] On December 26, 2014, Moore released his second single, "Our Hope".[2] On June 23, 2017, Moore featured alongside Bri Babineaux on her single "What You Don't Realize".[3] On March 23, 2018, Moore released the single "What a Friend".[4]

On July 3, 2020, Moore featured All Nations Music's "Bless Your Name", which was released to Gospel radio as the lead single to their debut album Come Alive (2020).[5] "Bless Your Name" peaked at No. 25 on the Hot Gospel Songs chart.[6] Maverick City Music released "Man of Your Word" which featured Moore alongside KJ Scriven, to Christian radio as the lead single from their debut album, on August 21, 2020.[7] "Man of Your Word" peaked at No. 18 on the Hot Christian Songs chart.[8] On September 30, 2020, Moore featured on Dante Bowe's single, "Voice of God", alongside Steffany Gretzinger.[9] "Voice of God" peaked at No. 36 on the Hot Christian Songs chart.[10] On October 30, 2020, Moore was featured on Nathaniel Bassey's single, "Olorun Agbaye - You Are Mighty", alongside Oba.[11] On November 13, 2020, Moore released his debut visual album, Feelings.[12][13] Feelings debuted at number four on Billboard's Top Gospel Albums chart.[14]

On February 5, 2021, Moore and Essential Worship released their version of Hillsong Worship's hit song "King of Kings" as a single.[15][16] On March 26, 2021, Elevation Worship and Maverick City Music released "Jireh", which Moore featured on with Naomi Raine, as the first promotional single from their collaborative live album, Old Church Basement.[17][18] "Jireh" concurrently debuted at No. 10 on the US Hot Christian Songs chart and at No. 1 on the Hot Gospel Songs chart, thus becoming Moore's first appearance in the top ten for both charts, and his first Hot Gospel Songs chart-topper.[19]

Moore wrote and performed on three tracks of Justin Bieber's surprise-release album, Freedom, a gospel-inspired EP that released on Easter 2021.

Personal life[]

On June 19, 2017, Moore welcomed a son named Chandler D. Moore II affectionately called Deuce. He actively posts photos with his son on his social media platforms.[20]

On January 17, 2021, Moore shared a photo of the apartment building he recently moved into on fire. Moore was supposed to be home at the time of the fire, but left a day early to attend a church service out of town. In the fire, Moore stated that he lost nearly all of his belongings. On social media, Moore shared his gratitude that God has protected his life despite the loss of material things.[21]

Moore became engaged to Hannah Poole in March 2021.[22] Moore and Poole got married on June 8, 2021, during a wedding ceremony held at The 4 Eleven in Fort Worth, Texas.[23]
