104.8 Channel 4 FM is the first English language radio station in the United Arab Emirates

104.8 Channel 4 is part of the Channel 4 Radio Network which was launched on 1 June 1997. It was the first ever commercial radio network in the United Arab Emirates and is a wholly owned subsidiary of Ajman Independent Studios LLC [1].

The line up consists of a variety of nationalities, strategically conducted to connect to the diverse audience in which the UAE houses. In 2017, Channel 4 broke a world record for the longest underwater radio broadcast. Channel 4 has been known to bring the world's biggest performers to the UAE.

Channel 4 plays a mix of the latest hits, as well as throwback old school music, with a target audience of 18-34 year olds.

The current On-Air Line Up hosts some of the biggest shows in the Emirates.

6-10am - Channel 4 Breakfast with JJ and Nimi. The hilarious duo of JJ and Nimi have been entertaining the UAE since March 2018. JJ a former X Factor contestant and Nimi a former World Tennis player have taken the breakfast slot to number 1.

10-1pm - Mornings with Mica. Mica has your morning covered.

1-4pm - Channel 4 Afternoons with Jacob. The youngest radio presenter in the UAE. At just 21, Jacobs' show is described as having an "anything goes" vibe to it. Jacob has a very high audience with the after school run among parents and students.

4-7pm - The Channel 4 Homerun with Eve. The longest serving presenter on the line up. Eve has been with Channel 4 since 2012. With a massive social following, Eve and her show have everything you need for the drive home.

7-10pm Channel 4 Evenings with Laila. The newest hits and the latest celebrity gossip at night.
