Charles Roxburgh

Charles Fergusson Roxburgh is a British civil servant currently serving as Second Permanent Secretary to HM Treasury.[1]

Personal life[]

Roxburgh was educated at Stowe School and Trinity College, Cambridge, before studying for a Masters in Business Administration at Harvard Business School.[2] He is married to Karen Pierce, a British diplomat who was the Permanent Representative of the United Kingdom to the United Nations,[1] and who in 2020 was appointed British Ambassador to the United States of America. Together they have two sons, born 1991 and 1997.[3]
