Charlotte Public Schools

Charlotte Public Schools is a school district in Michigan. Dr. Mandy Stewart is the current superintendent of schools. Charlotte is the county seat, with a population of approximately 8,500. The district covers an area of 124 square miles (320 km2) with a total enrollment of over 3,350 children. The schools are accredited by the North Central Association.

Many students are dual enrolled in traditional high school and Lansing-based community college classes, as well as intermediate school district vocational programs.
Charlotte Middle School link 7-8 1049 Nick Boucher, Principal; Fred Koning, Dean of Students Motto “Prepare for Success”. First opened for the 2002-2003 school year. (Students in grades 6-8 were previously served by Charlotte Junior High School.)
Charlotte Upper Elementary link 4-6 536 Mark McGarry, Principal; Dillion Burns, Dean of Students School mascot is the Oriole.
Galewood Elementary School link DK-K 226 Stephan Chartier Motto “Our Roots Start Here”. The motto is inspired by twelve two-hundred-year-old oaks that grow in the school grounds.
Parkview Elementary School link 1-3 456 Kali McKenna School mascot is the Oriole. In the past it was the Hornet.
Washington Elementary School link 1-3 333 Jason Setter School mascot is the Oriole; although in the early 1990s, it was the Wildcat.
Weymouth Early Child Development Center link Pre-K 247 Laura Newland Motto is “We care”. Inspired from "We care about ourselves, We care about each other, We care about quality work, Weymouth Elementary begins with 'WE'".
