China Tang

China Tang is a Chinese restaurant located at 53 Park Lane in London which is owned by the Entrepreneur David Tang and was opened in 2005.[1][2] It is located within the Dorchester Hotel.[2] Nearest London Underground station: Hyde Park Corner.[3]

Overview[]

The restaurant is designed with an Art Deco style lounge bar reminiscent of 1930s Shanghai. The restaurant belonged to the David Tang, and has build a reputation for occasional VIP dinners taking place. British politicians as well as world-famous actors have been seen at the location such as Kate Moss or Tony Blair.[4] Some charity events have been hosted there as well as fundraising events for the Television Trust for the Environment.[5]
