Chitipa United Football Club are a Malawian football (soccer) club based in Chitipa, Northern Region and currently playing in the TNM Super League, the top division of Malawian football.

History[]

In 2016, Chitipa United promoted, as Northern Region Football League champions, to the top flight for the first time in their history.[1]

In their first season in the Super League of Malawi, "The Lions of Fort Hill", finished in 16th position and return to second division.[2]

In 2018 , Chitipa United, wins again Northern Region Football League and returned to the TNM Super League.[3][4]

Despite to earn promotion, head coach, Robert Mzinza, was replaced before the 2019 season with Alex Ngwira.[5]
