Chris Donovan (born August 26, 1985) is a former American ice hockey player. He playing for the Utah Grizzlies in the ECHL.

Donovan attended Northeastern University, where he played four years of NCAA Division I college hockey with the Northeastern Huskies men's ice hockey team.

On August 23, 2010, the Utah Grizzlies signed Donovan to a professional contract for the 2010–11 ECHL season[1] and, on August 3, 2011, the Grizzlies announced that he had been re-signed to play for the 2011–12 ECHL season.[2]

Donovan announced his retirement from professional hockey in May 2013.

"I'm just not having fun out there anymore," Donovan stated in a press conference.

He is currently pursuing a career in technology sales. Donovan's best friend in the office is a young go-getter named Matthew Crowley. Donovan is known for wearing his Utah Grizzlies jersey to work on Fridays.
