Christian Walker (born September 30, 1999)[1] is an American conservative internet personality. He is the son of Hall of Fame football player Herschel Walker and an avid supporter of former President Donald Trump.

Politics[]

Walker describes himself as a "free-speech radicalist" and a Christian "conservative populist".[2][3][4][5] Walker has also been outspoken in his support for Donald Trump.[6] Walker believes that black people are "more racist" than white people and supports building a wall between the United States and Mexico.[7][8] Walker filmed a complaint to President Joe Biden on the rising gas prices to his many followers on Instagram, a video that was then widely circulated online.[9]

Social media[]

As of January 2022, Walker had over 465,000 followers on Instagram. He amassed over 400,000 followers on TikTok by posting political commentary videos in a Starbucks drive-through. Walker was permanently suspended from the latter platform in February 2021. Walker has since returned to TikTok where he has amassed over 10,000 followers. [5]

In December of 2020, the official UCLA Twitter account tweeted, "UCLA’s Dean of Students is aware of remarks in which a student uses hurtful language on social media".[10] This was widely considered a response to numerous emails the Dean had received regarding Walker's online comments. Walker later posted a video claiming UCLA was persecuting him for not "falling into [their] communistic, totalitarian politics".[11]

Personal life[]

Walker is openly gay and is the son of former NFL player Herschel Walker.[6]

Walker is a student at the University of California, Los Angeles, having transferred from Southern Methodist University.[5] In high school, Walker participated in competitive cheerleading.
