Christine Shoemaker

Christine A. Shoemaker is an American environmental engineer, currently the Joseph P. Ripley Professor at Cornell University. She is a Distinguished Honorary Member of American Society of Civil Engineers and Fellow of American Geophysical Union, Institute for Operations Research and Management Science,[1][2] and Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics .[3] He was also elected a member of the National Academy of Engineering in 2012 for the development of decision-making optimization algorithms for environmental and water resources problems.
