Christopher Gavigan is an American purpose-driven entrepreneur, environmental health champion, Co-Founder of The Honest Company,[1][2][3][4] and Founder and CEO of science-led, plant therapeutics brand PRIMA. He is also Author of the best-selling book Healthy Child Healthy World: Creating a Cleaner, Greener, Safer Home,[2] published by Dutton in 2008.[5]

In January 2012, Gavigan and business partners Jessica Alba and Brian Lee launched The Honest Company, is a mission-driven, digitally-native brand focused on leading the clean lifestyle movement, creating a community for conscious consumers and seeking to disrupt multiple consumer product categories.

Gavigan has also served as the CEO of the national non-profit Healthy Child Healthy World, an organization that works to advocate and improve children and family's health by eliminating questionable toxins from their environment.[2] He also was the Founder of Pinnacle Expeditions, a California-based adventure travel company for teens.[6]

Personal life[]

He married Jessica Capshaw in 2004 and has four children: Luke,[7] Eve, Poppy and Josephine.[8]
