Claudio Bisogniero (born 2 July 1954, Rome) has been Italy’s Permanent Representative to NATO since 2016. From 2007 until 2012, he was the Deputy Secretary General of NATO before serving as Ambassador to the United States (2012-2016).[1]

He graduated from La Sapienza in 1976[1] with a degree in political science.[2]
