Clifton Gachagua

Clifton Gachagua is a Kenyan poet and writer. He was born in 1987 and grew up in Nairobi and studied biotechnology at Maseno University. His books include the poetry collection The Madman at Kilifi and the novel Zephyrion. Madman at Kilifi was the winner of the inaugural . Gachagua was also chosen for Africa39, a selection of the best young writers in Africa.[1]

Since 2013, he has worked at Kwani? as an assistant editor.
