Coleophora auricella is a moth of the family Coleophoridae. It is found from Germany and Poland to Spain, Italy and Romania. It has also been recorded from southern Russia.

Larva

The larvae feed on , , Stachys officinalis, Stachys recta, Teucrium chamaedrys and Teucrium scorodonia. They create a spatulate leaf case of 10–15 mm (0.39–0.59 in). The mouth angle is about 25°.[2] Larvae can be found from autumn to June.
