Colton is a village in Cheyenne County, Nebraska, United States.[1]

History[]

A post office was established at Colton in 1887, and remained in operation until it was discontinued in 1901.[2] Colton was named for Francis Colton, a Union Pacific Railroad ticket agent.[3]

Colton is located at (41.1533° N, 102.8571° W).

According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of .94 square miles
