Coney Island Brewing Co. is a company controlled by Boston Beer Co. which began by selling hard root beer, and later followed up with hard ginger ale, and hard orange cream ale.[1] In 2016, the company expanded in New England.[2] In 2018, the company announced plans to launch its Mermaid Pilsner (which it describes as "a light lager with a heavy hand of rye malt, which adds a mild spiciness, balanced by a fruity, floral hop aroma") in parts of the Mid-Atlantic Region.[3]
