Consorts of the Yongzheng Emperor

The Yongzheng Emperor had eight consorts, including two empresses, two imperial noble consorts, three consorts and one concubine. Consorts classified according to the posthumous title. The text in chinese language below describes the titles held during the Yongzheng era and the titles held later by imperial consort.

Empresses[]

  1. Empress Xiaojingxian (28 June 1681 – 29 October 1731), Ulanara Duoqimuli (乌拉那拉·多棋木理). Tenure as empress: 28 March 1723-29 October 1731.[1]
    皇四子嫡福晋→贝勒嫡夫人→雍亲王嫡福晋→皇后
  2. Empress Xiaoshengxian (12 January 1692 – 2 March 1777), of the Niohuru clan. The highest title held by her during Yongzheng era was Noble Consort Xi (熹贵妃).[2] In 1735, she was honoured as Holy Mother, Empress Dowager Chongqing (圣母崇庆皇太后).[3]

Imperial Noble Consorts[]

  1. Imperial Noble Consort Dunsu (1690-1725), of the Nian clan.She was posthumously honoured as Imperial Noble Consort in 1725.[4]

  2. Imperial Noble Consort Chunque (1690-1785), of the Geng clan. By the time of her death, she was the longest living consort of the emperor. In 1780, she was promoted to Imperial Noble Consort. [5]

Consorts[]

  1. Consort Qi (1676 – 31 May 1739), of the Ligiya clan.[6]
    皇四子侧福晋→贝勒诗妾→雍亲王侧福晋→齐妃
  2. Consort Qian (1714-1768), Liugiya Xiangyu （刘佳·香玉).[7] The highest title held during Yongzheng era was Concubine Qian.[8] She was promoted to consort in 1735. [7]

  3. Consort Ning (d. 1734), of the Wugiya clan (武佳氏),[9] personal name Lingyuan (令媛).[10] She was posthumously honoured as a consort.[11]
