Cortez A. Broughton (born September 2, 1996) is an American football defensive end for the Kansas City Chiefs of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Cincinnati.[1]

Professional career[]

Los Angeles Chargers[]

Broughton was drafted by the Los Angeles Chargers (242nd overall pick) in the seventh round of the 2019 NFL Draft.[2] On November 15, 2019, Broughton was placed on the non-football illness list.[3]

On August 31, 2021, Broughton was waived by the Chargers.[4]

Kansas City Chiefs[]

On September 3, 2021, Broughton was signed to the Kansas City Chiefs practice squad.[5]
