Coston, Leicestershire

Coston is a village in the eastern part of Leicestershire, England. The population is included in the civil parish of Sproxton.

The village's name means 'farm/settlement of Katr'.[1]

Coston forms part of the civil parish of Garthorpe that, in turn, is part of the district of Melton.[2]

St Andrew's parish church

The parish church, dedicated to St Andrew, is thought to date back to the 13th century and was restored in 1846.[3]
