Crambus awemellus is a moth in the family Crambidae. It was described by James Halliday McDunnough in 1921.^[1] It is found in North America, where it has been recorded from Alberta, Manitoba, Ontario and Quebec.^[2] The habitat consists of marl fens.

The wingspan is 19–23 mm. The forewings are light yellowish brown with a pearly-white costal edge and four black dots in the lower part of the subterminal line. The hindwings are pale smoky. Adults are on wing in August in one generation per year.

The larvae probably feed on grasses.^[3]
