Baileys Irish Cream, a cream liqueur

A cream liqueur (not be confused with crème liqueur) is a liqueur that includes dairy cream and a generally flavourful liquor among its ingredients.

• Amarula, which uses distillate of fermented South African marula fruits
• Irish Cream, which uses Irish whiskey
• Cruzan Rum Cream using rum, cream, and other ingredients
• Dooley's, which uses toffee and vodka
• Heather Cream from Scotland using Scotch whisky
• Voodoo Cream Liqueur, an Indian cream liqueur, using cream, whisky and other ingredients
• spirit based cream liqueur produced by using local fruit found in Namibia^{[citation needed]}
• RumChata from the United States, a mixture of rum and horchata

Storage and shelf life[]

The manufacturer of Baileys Irish Cream claims the product has a shelf life of 30 months and guarantees its taste for two years from the day it was made unopened &/or stored in a refrigerator, when stored away from direct sunlight at temperatures between 0 and 25 °C (32 and 77 °F).^[1] Properties of other cream liqueurs may vary.
