Crocanthes phaeograpta is a moth in the family Lecithoceridae. It was described by Edward Meyrick in 1931. It is found on New Guinea.[1]
The wingspan is about 12 mm (0.47 in). The forewings are dark fuscous with a blackish transverse spot on the end of the cell, preceded by a roundish grey spot and followed by a grey bar. There is a nearly straight pale grey line from a small white spot on the costa at three-fourths to the tornus. There is also a suffused pale grey terminal fascia. The hindwings are blackish with some grey suffusion in the basal one-third of the disc, and on a bar from this to the tornus. A grey transverse line at three-fourths is strongly excurved on the median third and the edge is grey around the apex and upper part of the termen.[2]
