Crossobamon eversmanni, known commonly as the comb-toed gecko, is a species of Asian gecko, a lizard in the family Gekkonidae.

Etymology[]

The specific name, eversmanni, is in honor of Russian-German entomologist Alexander Eduard Friedrich Eversmann.[2]

Geographic range[]

C. eversmanni is found in several countries of Central Asia, Iran and Pakistan.[1]

Subspecies[]

Two subspecies are recognized as being valid, including the nominotypical subspecies.[1]

  • Crossobamon eversmanni eversmanni (Wiegmann, 1834)
  • Crossobamon eversmanni lumsdenii (Boulenger, 1887)

Nota bene: A trinomial authority in parentheses indicates that the subspecies was originally described in a genus other than Crossobamon.
