Cunaxidae is a family of predatory mites in the order Trombidiformes. There are at least 20 genera and 390 described species in Cunaxidae.[1][2][3][4] They inhabit many crop and orchard tree species, and stored foods - and thus are of interest as possible biocontrols of pests; but also some invasive weeds - which may be retarding biocontrol effectiveness in that case.[5]
