Cyphoryctis xylodoma is a moth in the family Xyloryctidae,[1] and the only species in the genus Cyphoryctis. The species and genus both were described by Edward Meyrick in 1934 and are found in Tanzania.[2][3]

The wingspan is about 26 mm. The forewings are rather light rufous-brownish with the extreme costal edge yellow-whitish anteriorly, becoming dark fuscous posteriorly. The second discal stigma is minute and dark brown and there are blackish terminal dots becoming minute towards the tornus. The hindwings are rather dark grey.[4]
