Cyprien Iov (born 12 May 1989), often known simply as Cyprien (French pronunciation: ​[sipʁijɛ̃]), is a French comedian, actor, dubber, and blogger known for his short comic YouTube videos. He became known for his videos on Dailymotion under his pseudonym Monsieur Dream, before continuing to make videos on YouTube under his real name.

Iov is also known for the short films he writes and uploads on his YouTube channel.[2][3] He co-produced a comic book series by the name of Roger et ses humains (Roger and his humans in English) and an audio-based web series known as L'Épopée temporelle (The Time Saga).

As of December 2020, his YouTube channel had 14 million subscribers and over 2.7 billion views, making him the second most subscribed French YouTuber behind Squeezie.

He also has a secondary channel which is named Bigorneaux et Coquillages. This channel is shared by Cyprien and Squeezie.

Childhood[]

Iov was born on May 12, 1989 to Romanian parents in Nice and grew up in the Var department of France. His mother is a wet nurse and his father works as a representative for dental technicians. He also has two brothers and one sister.

Internet debut[]

Iov created his YouTube channel on 25 February 2007. He often works with Yvick Letexier, Norman Thavaud, and  [fr].
