D. B. 'Deven' Seth (1944–2000) was an Indian painter.

Life[]

Seth was born in Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh and gained A.M.T. from Lucknow University in 1964.[citation needed] Then he gained a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Delhi College of Art (University of Delhi) in 1976.[citation needed]

He exhibited as a painter since 1964. He exhibited many solo and group exhibitions in India (for example, at the Dhoomimal Art Gallery in New Delhi and the Taj Art Gallery in Bombay) and abroad.[citation needed] He was a life member of AIFACS (New Delhi) and the Bombay Art Society. His work is included in the collections of the National Gallery of Modern Art.[citation needed]

He received the Kala Shri award from Prime Minister Chandra Shekhar in 1991.[citation needed]
