The DDT Extreme Championship (DDT EXTREME王座, Dī Dī Tī Ekusutorīmu Ōza) is a singles title in the Japanese professional wrestling promotion DDT Pro-Wrestling.[1] The title was established in 2006 and it is defended exclusively in hardcore matches, with the defending champion being given the right to choose the match stipulation. The title has also been defended at events held by Union Pro Wrestling, one of DDT's former sub-brands. There have been a total of fifty-two reigns shared between thirty different champions. The current title holder is Shinya Aoki, who is in his third reign as champion.[2]
