DWEB (99.9 FM) Radyo Rinconada is a radio station owned and operated by Filipinas Broadcasting Network. The station's studio and transmitter are located at the Municipal Public Market, Brgy. San Antonio Poblacion, Nabua.[1][2]

Established in 1980, DWEB is the pioneer FM station in the province. It was formerly located in Naga from until 2010, when it relocated to Nabua. It used to carry a modern rock format during the 1990s and 2000s. It is currently part of the Bicol Media Network Group.[3]

Franchise Issue[]

On February 3, 2022, a document came out stating that the said station was illegally broadcasting in the town of NABUA but the Anchors also denied it even though it was clear in their Broadcast License that it was in Brgy. Tabuco, Naga City that they should be operating according to the news report released by their big competitor “96.7 GOODVIBES Radio”.

On February 10, 2022, the National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) Region V visited their radio station in Nabua town for inspection.

On February 12, 2022, the said Radio Station was Off-Air all day and in the evening, their Radio Antenna was allegedly dismantled.

But on February 12, 2022, at 9 pm DWEB FM posted on their Facebook Account saying “ABANGAN!!!!!! MAS PINALAKAS, PINALINAW (WATCH OUT!!!!!! MORE STRENGTHENED, MORE CLEARER) #inaapipinagpapala #panindigannyoyan #badvibesnasila #goodfakevibes" which surprised and delighted its listeners.

On February 18, 2022, DWEB was back on-air and on the following days they answered FAQ's. "Why they are Off-Air Last 2 days?" They said that there's technical adjustments on their radio station.

The NTC Region V Director questioned the station "Why are you using 1,000 Watts when in your franchise role is 10,000 Watts." So, the DWEB adjust their technical equipments.

The Anchor's said that Don’t believe the Fake News made by GOODfakeVIBES.

Incidents[]

Two DWEB radio journalists were killed within a year. was assassinated July 9, 2010, by an alleged member of the New People's Army. Romeo Olea, who was radio show host of "Anything Goes," was assassinated June 13, 2011, after receiving death threats for his sharp political commentary.[4][5]
