DYCP (90.3 FM), broadcasting as Mom's Radio 90.3, was a radio station owned and operated by the Southern Broadcasting Network. The station studio and transmitter were located at Room 203, Capitol Subd. Bldg., #16 Lacson St., Bacolod.[1][2]

History[]

  • First broadcast in 1993 as DYCP 90.3.
  • In 2001 the station became known as Music Now and adopted the CHR format, with an audience target of students and young professionals.
  • In late 2003, the station became as Mom's Radio 90.3. Dedicated to the mothers and mother-to-be listeners in Cebu City.
  • In 2010, it reverted to DYCP 90.3, with limited broadcast time.
  • In November 2015, Mom's Radio 90.3 returned on air, this time via satellite from Manila.[3][4]
  • In February 2018, the station went off the air (along with its provincial stations) due to financial constraints, poor ratings and loss of advertiser's support as well as a cost-cutting measures by SBN's parent company, Solar Entertainment Corporation.
