Daniel Durant is an American stage and screen actor. Daniel Durant is a member of the Deaf community. He is best known for portraying Moritz Stiefel in the 2015 Broadway Revival of Spring Awakening, and for his recurring role as Matthew on the television series Switched at Birth.[1][2] He was also featured in the second season of the Netflix series You.[3] In 2021, he starred in the critically acclaimed movie CODA.[4]
