Danville Secondary Subdivision
The Danville Secondary Subdivision is a railroad line owned by the Decatur & Eastern Illinois Railroad (DREI), a division of Watco and formerly CSX in Indiana and Illinois. The line runs from Terre Haute, Indiana, to Danville, Illinois, for a total of 56.0 miles (90.1 km). At its south end the line continues north from the St. Louis Subdivision and at its north end the line continues north as the of the .[1][2]
On September 9, 2018, Watco began operations of the line via subsidiary DREI following CSX's spinoffs of non-core routes in Illinois and Indiana.[3]
