Daphnis hayesi is a moth of the family Sphingidae.

Distribution[]

It is known from Sulawesi in Indonesia.

Description[]

The length of the forewings is 41–43 mm. The forewing upperside is similar to Daphnis hypothous hypothous but differs in details of pattern, there is a dark green sharply delimited sinuous line across the light olive grey subapical area, the angle of the outer edge of the dark green median area is obtuse and part of the dark median area is dark green.
