David Blamires is a vocalist who has worked with the Pat Metheny Group. In addition to singing[1] on three of the group's albums, Blamires played guitar, trumpet, violin, mellophone, recorder, marimba, and accordion.[2]

In 1992 he released a solo album, The David Blamires Group.[3] A native of England who grew up in Canada, he has worked with Manteca, Anne Murray, and Triumph.
