Davit Niniashvili (born 14 July 2002) is a Georgian rugby union player. He plays as full-back for Khvamli in Georgia Championship second division.[1] He participates in the 2019 European Under-18 Rugby Union Championship organized in Kaliningrad. He started at the back in the final, won by Georgia. Although only evolving in the regional league, being 18 years old and having no high level experience, he is selected by to participate in the Autumn Nations Cup. His coach presents him as "a promising player with good skills". He wants to “increase the depth [at the rear post]”.
He will have the opportunity to know his first selection by entering the game against Ireland, then his second against Fiji. Davit Niniashvili was named in starting line-up at first time at 2020 Rugby Europe Championship against Russia. He scored his first international try against Russia at 2021 Rugby Europe Championship
In 2021, he signs a three-year contract with Lyon OU, where he is expected to alternate between the hopeful and senior team at first. His debut in Top 14 was made in September of 18, 2021 against Perpignan.
