DeGalan Peak

DeGalan Peak (

80°7′S 155°55′E / 80.117°S 155.917°E / -80.117; 155.917Coordinates: 80°7′S 155°55′E / 80.117°S 155.917°E / -80.117; 155.917) is a peak that rises to 2,470 metres (8,100 ft) at the head of Magnis Valley in the Britannia Range. It was named after , a contractor employee in charge of United States Antarctic Program cargo shipments out of Port Hueneme, CA, for more than 20 years.[1]
