Deborah A. Armstrong is an American health consultant, businesswoman, and politician serving as a member of the New Mexico House of Representatives from the 17th district, which includes Bernalillo County, New Mexico.[1]

Education[]

Armstrong earned a BSc in physical therapy from the University of Michigan, followed by a Juris Doctor in health law from the University of New Mexico School of Law.[2]

Career[]

For 25 years, Armstrong worked as a licensed physical therapist. Armstrong was executive director of the New Mexico Medical Insurance Pool. From 2004 to 2007, she was Director of the New Mexico Aging and Long Term Services Department under Governor Bill Richardson. Since 2008, she has been president of Delta Consulting Group, a business management consulting firm based in Albuquerque, New Mexico.[3] Armstrong was elected to the New Mexico House of Representatives in 2014. She took office on January 20, 2015.
