Deca Sports 2 (Deca Sporta 2 in Japan, Sports Island 2 in Europe) is a sports video game developed and published by Hudson Soft for the Wii and it's the sequel to Deca Sports. The game was released across three regions from April to September 2009.[1]

Gameplay[]

Deca Sports 2 adds ten new games compared to the previous game:

The players are able to create their own custom teams, made of teammates with different traits each with its own positive and negative characteristics (like speed or strength).[2]

The multiplayer component has a Wi-Fi support for two to four players depending on the game, with included leaderboards.[2]

Reception[]

GameSpot gave it a 4.0/10,[10] citing awkward controls and shallow gameplay. IGN gave it a 5.3/10.[11] Metacritic gave it a 49 out of 100.[3]
