The Delage D12 is a hybrid street-legal hypercar produced by the French automobile manufacturer Delage from 2021.

History[]

The French car manufacturer Delage ceased operations in 1953. In 2019, the entrepreneur Laurent Tapie signed an agreement with the owners of the brand “Les Amis of Delage "in order to relaunch the Delage brand and produce the hybrid hypercar D12[1] in the Paris region from 2020.

The D12 is prefigured by the concept car Delage D12 Concept presented on 10 December 2019 in Los Angeles in United States.[2]

Characteristics[]

The hybrid Hypercar is powered by a naturally aspirated V12 engine of 990 hp coupled to an electric motor of 110 hp for a cumulative power of 1,110 hp (920 kW).[3].

It has 2 central seats in tandem position and no door but an opening cockpit like fighter jets.

It will be limited to a production run of 30 vehicles only, at a price tag of 2 Million Euros per car.[citation needed]
