Delias candida is a butterfly in the family Pieridae. It was described by Samuel Constantinus Snellen van Vollenhoven in 1865. It is found in the Australasian realm[2] (Obi, Bachan, Halmahera, Morotai).
The wingspan is about 70–84 mm. Adults can be distinguished by the large submarginal white spots on the underside of the forewings (which are cream in females). The underside of the hindwings differs markedly between the sexes. In males, they are predominantly white and yellow with orange submarginal spots, whilst those of the females are black with a dusting of yellow and the same orange spots.[3]
