Demi-Tasse Tales

Demi-Tasse Tales is a syndicated American anthology drama series. Eleven half-hour episodes aired on WCBS-TV[1] in New York City from January 6, 1953, to May 26, 1953. It aired alternate weeks with Your Jeweler's Showcase.

Among its guest stars were Gig Young, Ann Dvorak, Don DeFore, Diana Lynn, and Ward Bond.

Consolidated TV Sales, Inc. distributed the package of filmed episodes under the umbrella title Hollywood Half Hour. Titles for the package varied from market to market, usually worded to fit the local sponsor. Demi-Tasse Tales was sponsored by Medagalia D'Oro coffee.[1] Overall, Hollywood Half Hour included 34 episodes that were broadcast from 1951 to 1953 with varying titles.[2] The series originated as Bigelow Theater, sponsored by Bigelow Carpets. As of August 1, 1953, it was being shown in 127 markets.[1]
